Basically, the only gold you pay for are the Honor producing holdings and the Charter of the Crane. Everything comes off the stronghold but Sembi. I have honor run in as little as four turns with this deck. However, because it is using Kosaten Shiro, it is only legal after and during GenCon, a tournament I hope to attend.

Comments: Comments: This deck is a fast honor runner with a storyline twist. At first I was debating running Pekkles, but a ninja whispered in my ear, and I decided I would run them. However, I still refuse to allow them to stay tainted. Thus, I am using Ashlim and Oath of Fealty to make Pekkle an Honorable Crane. Rename her Kakita Pekkle if you like! Besides that, this deck is your typical honor runner. I've got three Rings and a Dashmar because I DESPISE Kisada's Funeral. Everything else is pretty simple - use people that come off the stronghold, and throw in some Shugenja for The Wind's Truth. Also, The Wind's Truth is a great defense against Pekkle damage.

(I went on to win that round and that tournament. When playing this deck, realize right off that your guys WILL die, and this will increase your honor via the poets. Suicide is the name of the Game. But don't be afraid to attack if you know you can win. I have won a military victory against a Lion Speed Deck. In short, "BANZAI."
